About Lauren M. MacLean

Lauren MacLean teaches a graduate seminar on qualitative methods that highlights the costs and benefits from qualitative versus other methodologies. In her class, students learn about and practice case study research design, conceptualization, interviewing, ethnographic observation, archival research, and discourse/content analysis. Special attention is given to research ethics and qualitative data analysis throughout the class.
