Department of Political Science

My name is Mary Adams Plooster. I was born and raised in south central Kentucky and went to college at Western Kentucky University (confusingly also located in south central Kentucky). At WKU, I studied political science and communication studies, and followed my undergraduate degree with a Master of Public Administration. After college, I worked for a community development government agency in Bowling Green, KY for two years before becoming a Hoosier this fall. My interests in political science include political psychology, political institutions, representation, and the interactions of individuals within political systems.
