We understand that each of our students might have distinct professional or research goals they want to achieve. To that end, we’ve created six thematic areas within our major. These areas are intended to help you identify courses that help to satisfy your interests and career goals. These areas of specialization will not be listed on your transcript, but you can include those you pursue on your resume.
We currently offer six areas of specialization, but you should feel free to speak with your academic advisor to create your own. You can select from American Politics and Government, Global and International Politics, Public Policy and Politics, Business and Politics, Political Theory and Philosophy, or Law and Politics.
