Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Jonathan graduated summa cum laude from the Louisiana State University Honors College in Political Science after spending his junior year at the University of Nottingham (UK). After graduation, Jonathan served for two years as an AmeriCorps member at City Year Baton Rouge, where he worked as a tutor and mentor for students in local under-resourced primary and secondary schools. In 2017, Jonathan was hired as a full-time manger with City Year Baton Rouge. In his spare time, Jonathan is an avid runner, loves to read, and enjoys traveling.
