About Aashna Khanna

Aashna is at the ABD stage of her doctoral journey in the department of political science. Her research fields are International relations and political methodology, specifically, international political economy and social network analysis. Her research interests include politics of global finance, international development and global economic policy with a focus on G20 economies & developing countries.

Aashna has peer-reviewed articles in the International Studies Perspectives and Studies in Conflict & Terrorism and is currently working on her dissertation examining the participation of G20 economies in global financial safety nets.
Before coming to IU, she worked as a public affairs & government relations associate in a public relations firm and received her masters from O.P Jindal Global University in India and graduated with gold medalist honors.
