Aashna Khanna is a doctoral student in the Political Science Department at Indiana University. Her research interests include politics of global finance, role theory and social network analysis with a focus on developing countries and has co-authored articles published in International Studies Perspectives and Studies in Conflict & Terrorism. She is currently working on her dissertation examining the role of BRICS countries in the global financial system developing a role based framework. Before coming to IU, she received her masters from O.P Jindal Global University and graduated as a gold medalist valedictorian.
