Nicolas Bichay
Nicolas Bichay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Indiana University, where he teaches courses on democracy, comparative politics, and research methodology. He received his Ph.D. in political science from Michigan State University in 2021.
Nicolas’s area of research centers on democracy and democratic backsliding, populism, radical parties, and political economy. His primary research focuses on the rise and rule of radical-right and populist parties in Europe, analyzing both how they come to power, and the real-world effects of their governance.
