Political Science has signed a housing agreement with Washington Intern Student Housing (WISH), an established D.C. housing agency that provides housing for students from across the country who are interning in Washington, D.C. They house programs for Ohio State University, the University of North Carolina, and many others.
The charming, historic townhouses are on Capitol Hill, two blocks from the Senate and a block from the Supreme Court. You do need to apply separately to WISH so they can collect a $200 security deposit from you and send you a housing contract detailing their policies for liability purposes. The $200 is returned at the end of the program when you mail back your key. Your course fee will include $4,800 for the semester’s housing, and will be paid through IU via your Bursar bill. Our department will pay housing costs directly to WISH for you.
