The State Politics and Policy Section of the APSA named Politics in the American States: A Comparative Analysis as the 2017 recipient of the Mac Jewel Award Enduring Contribution Book Award. The current editors—Virginia Gray, Russ Hanson, and Thad Kousser—accepted the award in behalf of the distinguished authors who’ve contributed chapters to one or more of the 11 editions of Politics in the American States.
