Marjorie Randon Hershey awarded the 2019 Sylvia E. Bowman Distinguished Teaching Award. Professor Hershey is the 20th recipient of the award and eighth from the Bloomington campus.
This is a well-deserved acknowledgement of Margie’s unparalleled devotion to political science education at IU. Beside classroom excellence, she has developed courses, including those which have helped our graduate student to be more effective teachers, and she has mentored many of our highly successful PhDs, and served many more than her share of terms as an exemplary DUGs for Political Science.
