Aidan is currently studying the impact of federal structures on authoritarian longevity, particularly how regimes approach the principal-agent problems inherent in this regime type. Additional interests include authoritarian elections and parties, as well as contemporary Russian politics. He received his B.A. from the University of Florida in 2016.
