A note from the chair
Well, we worked all summer to get ready for reopening this fall, but we have still confronted some unexpected turns and challenges. Our campus faced a national Zoom outage and problems with Canvas on the first day of the semester that was stressful for all. But, we are getting into the rhythm of either teaching in masks in socially distant classrooms or facilitating a Zoom class. Faculty are navigating Zoom breakout rooms and online quizzes while students are trying to meet new people while wearing masks and remaining socially distant.
